DLSCC meeting held at Ganderbal

          GANDERBAL, DECEMBER 21: District Magistrate Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush Singla chaired a meeting of District Level Screening-cum-Coordination Committee (DLSCC) here today.

          Additional Deputy Commissioner, Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, ASP Ganderbal, CO-5RR Ganderbal, CO 115Bn CRPF and CO BSF Srinagar attended the meeting.

          Speaking on the occasion, the DM highlighted the need for timely meetings to expedite the clearance of cases in future as envisioned by the government.

          During the meeting, cases pertaining to the cash compensation, appointments, and structure damage assessment were deliberated upon by the Committee. The reports from Police, CID and Army were thoroughly discussed while deciding the cases.

          The Committee sanctioned cash compensation to the tune of 40 lakh besides recommended job as per the extant provisions of SRO-43 and ex-gratia relief.
