JAMMU, DECEMBER 20: Lt. Gen. S. K. Saini,
GOC 9 Corps, called on Governor N. N. Vohra, at Raj
Bhavan and briefed him about the security situation in the Area of
Responsibility of his Command.
Governor discussed with Lt. Gen. Saini issues relating to
the continuing Pak attempts to infiltrate terrorists across the International
Border along the Kathua, Samba and Jammu districts and the vital importance of
the State Police enforcing heightened surveillance in the entire hinterland on
a sustained basis.
