New Delhi, Dec 27: The Lok Sabha on Wedesday condemned in one voice
insults heaped on imprisoned Indian death row convict Kulbhushan Jadhav's
family members who went to meet him in Islamabad and demanded that the government bring him back
safely.

Kharge sought a discussion on the way Pakistan humiliated the mother and wife of Jadhav, who is on death row on charges of espionage and subversion, which have been strongly rejected by India.
New Delhi says the former navy officer was abducted from Iran.
Arvind Sawant of the Shiv Sena said Pakistan had committed a most reprehensible act which needed strongest condemnation by all. He demanded that Jadhav should be brought back.
Prof Saugata Roy of the All India Trinamool Congress said Pakistan had forced the Hindu woman to take off her bindi and mangalsutra before her meeting with her husband that took place because of the intervention of the Hague-based International Court of Justice.
Leader of the AIADMK and deputy Speaker Dr M Thambi Durai also condemned the Pakistan action,
Several other members, cutting across party lines, associated themselves with the condemnation.
Prof Roy and Dr Thambi Durai wanted External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to make a
statement in the House..
Ms Swaraj announced that she will make the statement tomorrow.
The House also associated itself with SAD MP Prem Singh Chandumajra's proposal to pay tribute to the sacrifice of the younger sons of founder of the Khalsa panth Guru Gobind Singh. UNI
