New Delhi, Dec 14: India and Morocco on Thursday signed three agreements for cooperation in road
and water sectors here.
The agreements were signed in presence of Road Transport and
Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics
and Water from Morocco Abdelkar Amara.
The agreements signed were -- cooperation between Institute of Training in Engines and Road Maintenance, Morocco and Indian Academy of Road Engineers, Cooperation in Water Resources and Framework Agreement for Cooperation in Training between the National Ports Agency (Port Training Institute) of Morocco and the IMU, Chennai.
Welcoming the Moroccan delegation Mr Gadkari said that in India lots of development work were going on in the road and water areas.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given high priority to infrastructure development in the country.
India wants to be a part of the economic development of Morocco, the Minister added. UNI
