New Delhi, Dec 26: Veteran actor and BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha on
Tuesday stuck his neck out by insisting that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind
Kejriwal deserved to have been invited to the inauguration of the Delhi Metro's
Magenta Line on Monday, insisting it would have been 'a feather in the Honble
PM's cap.'
Welcoming the inauguration by Prime Minister
Narendra Modi, the rebel BJP MP tweeted 'Great gesture by our Hon'ble PM to inaugurate the
Noida-Kalkaji Metro...making the occasion Modimaya & Yogimaya.. ..but our little suggestion is that
Mr Kejriwal deserved to be invited. After all UP & Delhi are 50-50% partners. It would have added glory to
the show & would have been a feather in the Honble PM's cap.'
He reminded that there need not be politics on the road to development before signing off with 'congratulations to the PM and Yogiji. Jai Hind!' UNI
