Kolkata, Dec 29: The cyber wing of Kolkata Police (KP) has received the NASSCOM-Data Security Council of India (DSCI) Excellence
Award this year for ‘Capacity Building of Law Enforcement’.
The award was handed over during an all-India seminar on
cyber security in which police personnel from different districts were present.
As part of the application for the award, KP had put forward the cases it has handled covering different forms of cyber crime, and the equipment and technology used.
