Leader of the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley gave an assurance on the floor of the House that the ruling BJP and leaders of Opposition parties will meet today to end the impasse so that the House can function smoothly.
"It is my privilege to invite the leader of Opposition and other party leaders to meet and sort out the issue today,' he said.
Today was the third day that Congress members raised the issue leading to exchange of words between the treasury and Congress members.
As soon as the Question Hour commenced, Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabu Azad raised the matter saying leveling of allegations of conspiracy against former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and others was not good for democracy, polity and the country. UNI
