PM to visit cyclone affected areas

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Cyclone Ockhi-affected coastal areas on Tuesday evening.
The Prime Minister would visit Poonthura, one of the worst affected coastal areas here, and interact with the fishermen communities at St Thomas School.
After the visit in Lakshadweep and Kanyakumari, the Prime Minister is expected to reach here at 1615 hrs and then head to Poonthura. 
After visiting the Coastal areas, he would reach Thycaud Government Guest House where he would meet Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and other State Ministers. Later, Chief Secretary K M Abraham will present before the Prime Minister about a detailed report on the damages.
The Prime Minister who visited Lakshadweep this morning will go to Kanyakumari in an helicopter after reaching here at 1350 hrs. UNI
