Kolkata, Dec 7: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is expected to arrive by this afternoon to preside a meeting of five chief ministers of border
states, including West Bengal, at Nabanna, state secretariat where Mamata Banerjee would greet the
visitors.
The meeting, sources said , is very important since the
borders with Bangladesh have been under tight vigil following sneaking of terror groups
activists into Indian territory in the wake of crack down on them by the Bangladesh government. Recently five suspected terrorists have been arrested in the
city and border areas in north Bengal. The meeting will be held at Nabanna's Sabhaghar.
Besides the chief minister of West Bengal, her counterparts from Assam, Tripura, Mizoram, and Meghalaya will be there in the meeting. UNI
