Rani Blowria chairs Ethics Committee Meeting

JAMMU, DECEMBER 11: A meeting of committee of Ethics of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council was held under the Chairperson of MLC, Rani Gargi Blowria here today.

The committee held threadbare discussions on various issues regarding the functioning of the Committee and the Chairperson asked to follow ethical and moral values by legislators in and outside the house so the dignity would be maintained.

Legislators, Surinder Mohan Ambardar and Vibod Gupta attended the meeting and gave their valuable suggestions regarding the working of the Ethics Committee.

The Chairperson of the Committee seeks suggestions from the members of the Committee so that the Committee prepares their report accordingly.

Stressing for proper utilization of time, the Committee said that it will give a chance to the members to raise more public interest issues during the session.

The Committee suggested that the Members to submit their questions in advance to the Council Secretariat in order to obtain detailed reply from concerned departments to satisfy the Members.

 Senior officers of   Council Secretariat also attended the meeting.
