Ajay Nanda chairs RKS meeting

REASI, DECEMBER 11: Minister of State for Finance and Planning Ajay Nanda, Chairman of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS), today convened a meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti of District Hospital Reasi and approved funds for strengthening of hospital infrastructure.

The meeting was attended by CMO Dr. L.D Bhagat, Superintendent DH Dr. P.S. Thakur, DSWO, CEO, DGM JKPCC, Executive Engineers of PHE, PWD, EMRE, doctors and other members of RKS.

The Minister, after threadbare discussion over several matters related to better functioning of the hospital, approved funds for purchase of X-ray machine, Laboratory equipment, ECG machine, sanitation material, syringe disposal automatic machines and other necessary equipment.

The Minister instructed the Executive Engineer PWD for repair and renovation of all bath rooms in the hospital besides asking Executive Engineer PHE to ensure regular and timely water supply in the hospital. He asked DGM JKPCC to install CCTV cameras at prominent locations in the hospital to keep a monitoring over the functioning of the institution.

The Minister asked the doctors for maintaining cleanliness in and around the hospital as a hygienic environment is pre-requisite for health of the patients.

Meanwhile, the Minister inspected all wards and sections of the hospital and interacted with the patients. He expressed satisfaction over the working of the doctors and other health functionaries.   He advised the medicos and para medicos to be humane and sympathetic while dealing with patients especially in casualty, labor room and labor wards.
