Rupee down by 10 paise against USD

Mumbai, Dec 27: The Rupee on wednesday fell by Ten paise to 64.18 against the US Dollar on buying of US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at Forex Market said.

The domestic unit moved down in early trade on strong dollar against other world currencies, but the strength in domestic equities came as a buffer for the rupee's losses dealers said.
Major fluctuation was witnessed during intra day as it registered the day's high and low at 64.17 and 64.06, respectively, they added. Yesterday, the rupee had ended lower by 4 paise at 64.08 in a quiet trade. UNI
