Sensex rebounds by 290 pts

Mumbai, Dec 18: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday registered a solid gain of 290.55 points to 3,753.52 after the trend showing that BJP emerging victorious in both Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh with a comfortable majority. 

The Nifty of National Stocks Exchange (NSE) too advanced by 92.35 points to 10,425.60.
Though, the sensex fell by 98 points to open at 33,364.52. It  immediately bounced back.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 33,753.52 and 32,595.93 respectvely.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,429.10 and 10,074.88 respectively. 
All Sectoral indices were trading with Postive bias. 
The sectoral indices were seen in green. In scrips, M & M, Sun Pharma, Adani Ports and Tata Steel surged in early trade.
The gainers were M & M by 3.49 pc to Rs 1534.45, Sun Pharma by 2.28 pc to Rs 530, Adani Ports by 1.54 pc to Rs 408.15 and Tata Steel by 1.45 pc to Rs 705.
The losers were Powergrid by 0.78 pc to Rs 197.85, ITC by 0.36 pc to Rs 263.80 and NTPC by 0.31 pc to Rs 176.70. UNI
