DC finalizes arrangements for Dangal

UDHAMPUR, JANUARY 20: District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Ravinder Kumar today visited Subash Stadium Udhampur to finalize the arrangements for upcoming Dangal on 24th  January.

DDC said that that this is the first time ever an exclusive women wrestling in Udhampur district is going to be held under ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ Abhiyan, in order to celebrate the strength within the women. DC directed the officers to ensure adequate arrangements for the event.

Among others, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Subash Dogra, Chief Planning Officer Ashok Khajuria, Additional Sp Udhampur besides Xen, PWD, PDD, PHE Nodal Officer, ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ (BBBP) Rachna Sharma, DYSSO Udhampur and other officers of various departments and representative of Sports council were present on the occasion.
