Aijaz Khan chairs public meeting, launches work on roads

Distributes sewing machines, old age pension cards

REASI, JANUARY 20: Member Legislative Assembly Gool-Arnas Aijaz Ahmed Khan today chaired a public meeting at Dharmari and distributed sewing machines and old age pension cards among the poor beneficiaries. He also gave a patient hearing to the issues of the local people. In the meeting, SDM Yaseen Chowdhary, BDO Thuroo, senior officers from the concerned departments and prominent people were present.

While addressing, the MLA asked the SDM to clear the cases of land compensation and BDO was also instructed to ensure the payment of liabilities to MGNREGA workers. He emphasized on the punctuality and regularity of teachers in the far-flung areas.

Later, the MLA also toured in Thuroo Village and lunched the work of Sulkh to Kharog road and laid the foundation of Pattian to Dadar road.
