Shiksha Niketan held Rangoli making and Volleyball Competition for Class 10th

JAMMU, JAN 15: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar held a Rangoli Making Competition among the girls of class 10 th and Volleyball Competition among the boys of class 10 th as per their weekly activities on 15/01/18 in its premises. The concerned teachers of Class 10 th with the Cooperation of their coordinator Mam Mrs. Poonam Sharma and Sports teachers conducted both the competition in a very sophisticated manner.There were 2 girls from each section of Class 10 th , total girls were 12 in numbers. The theme of Rangoli was Makkar Sankranti. Alk the girls made wonderful Rangoli with beautiful colours. They showed their creativity of art in a superb manner. The girls of class 10 th e namely – Palak Sharma and Sngeeta and girls of 10 th I namely Parul Sharma and akarshita verma got first position . The girls of Section A namely Jasleen Kour, Amneet Kour and Girls of Section D namely Snehdeep kour and Harshis kour got second position . On the other hand in the volleyball competition there were seven boys in each team (Two Teams). They were of Different Sections. The boys played the great spirit and energetically with the proper rules and guidelines under the supervision of Sports teacher and other concerned teachers of Class10 th . The game was played with the spirit of winning by both the teams – Team A and Team B. Each team put their hard efforts to win the game but Team A defeated Team B and was declared to be the winning team.

The players of Team A were Prabjot 10 th A, Yuvraj 10 th A, Karan 10 TH B, Harsh 10 th B, Shivam 10 th D Prabjot 10 th D and Aman 10 th I . Overakll the competition held under the supervision of Mrs. Nirmal Sharma(The main Incharge of the School) and Mr. Harish Sharma (High wing Incharge) They applauded the efforts of the participants of both the competition. At last, Sh. Rameshwar Mengi the Princuipal of the School appreciated the Students and gave away the Prizes.
