Ayodhya Gupta along with other BJP leaders today kick-started the construction of lane and drain at Gole Gujaral

JAMMU, JANUARY 19: BJP led by District President Jammu West Ayodhya Gupta along with other BJP leaders today kick-started the construction of lane and drain at Gole Gujaral, Ward No. 32 falling under Jammu West District & Constituency.

Ayodhya Gupta in his address said that it was the long pending demand of the people of the area. He said a deputation of the local residents of the area had called for their genuine concern and demanded the construction of the lane and drain and now on the instructions of the BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma the present work is kick started to mitigate the suffering of the masses.

He said that the lane and drain would be constructed at an estimated cost of rupees 4.45 lakh. He said that the locals were facing many difficulties due to the non-maintenance of lane and drain in the locality as there was no proper drainage of the waste water that used to gather in the lane itself producing stink and mosquitoes. He said that the filthy water was an epidemic threat for the locals of the area. He said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is committed to carry forward the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s agenda ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ and these measures will certainly be an added advantage to the mission. He also appealed to the locals to keep vigil on the quality of the present work being executed.
