Health deptt to hold medical camp for Handicapped at Khoon on Feb 14
UDHAMPUR, JANUARY 17: Destitute And Handicapped Welfare Association (DAHWA) convened its bi monthly awareness   camp at Khoon in which several pension related and other public issues were deliberated upon in detail.
It was informed in the camp that on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Ravinder Kumar the Health department will organize medical camp for handicapped persons at khoon on 14 February.
People from several villages attended the camp and raised their issues asking DAHWA to take up those with the concerned authorities for an early redressal. They demanded timely and regular release of pensions under different categories of Old aged, Handicapped, Widows, Destitutes and orphans. 

DAHWA Chairperson, S.S.Sumbria expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner for asking the concerned to hold medical camp for the handicapped persons of these remote and far off areas of Majalta tehsil. He hoped that the district administration would continue its support to DAHWA in mitigating the sufferings of people of these rural areas especially pensioners.
