PULWAMA, JANUARY 19:
District Development Commissioner Pulwama Ghulam Mohammad Dar today Flagged off
a group of 100 students of the District on education tour to New Delhi.
The tour is planned under the aegis of
Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), a centrally-sponsored scheme of the
Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
Speaking on the occasion, DDC said that
this initiative will provide a great learning experience to the students beyond
the walls of their classrooms. DDC further said that students will get an
opportunity to
visit Rajasthan, Delhi, Bangalore, Haryana, and few other states where the
educational reforms have been implemented and the sector is advanced.
Dar further said that apart from
sightseeing, the students would also visit schools and interact with the
students.
He further said that the interactions
of our students with the rest of the country will help in exchange of ideas and
broaden the outlook of the students and exhorted upon students to make the best
use of this opportunity meant to provide a structured learning experience which
shall also nurture their talent and abilities. He said that the children would
not only get to know the culture of other state but would also help them to
gain knowledge.
