New Delhi, Jan 8: A cold breeze greeted the Delhiites on Monday morning, while fog covered over
the city skyline, impacting the movement of rail traffic here.
According to the Indian Railways, 50 trains were delayed,
while 18 got cancelled, due to bad visibility here.
The Met department said the minimum temperature in the morning settled at 5 degree Celsius, two notches less than normal for the season.
The air quality is under the 'poor' category with the index value standing at 294 at 0900 hrs, as per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), a bit better against yesterday's 'very poor'.
Sky is likely to be clear during the day with mist witnessed during the morning hours, the weatherman said.
Relative humidity pegged at 97 per cent at 0830 hrs.
The maximum temperature during the day is likely to hover around 21 degrees, as per the Met office.
