Five killed as Crusier jeep collides with lorry

Chitradurga, Jan 8: Five persons were killed on the spot when a Cruiser jeep, in which they were travelling, collided head-on with a lorry near Cibara village in this district during the wee hours on Monday. 

Police said the deceased, who were travelling in the ill-fated jeep, hailed from Gokak in Belagavi district. 
They were returning home after a trip to Mysuru. 
They began their journey last night and the accident happened past midnight last night.
The deceased have been identified, police said. UNI
