New Delhi, Jan 3: Notwithstanding heated moments over violence in Maharashtra, members in Lok
Sabha on Wednesday did not seem to lose their sense of humour.
Congress floor leader Mallikarjun Kharge was found exchanging
words with Speaker Sumitra Mahajan-but in a lighter vein.
Mr Kharge said, "Now that the Speaker has disallowed my adjournment motion, I will try to talk about violence in Maharashtra".
As the Speaker reminded the senior member that the adjournment motion was 'rejected', Mr Kharge said, "I also know Hindi .... I said 'Aswikar' (disallowed)".
On this Ms Mahajan remarked, "What do I do as I have lately developed hearing problem.....thanks to you all".
Mr Kharge retorted, "mein kisi acchey doctor ko bataunga (I will tell you about a good doctor)" throwing the entire house into peals of laughter. UNI
