Jan 6: At least six passengers were killed and 17 others injured as mini
bus skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Udhampur district of
Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday afternoon.
'A mini bus ferrying passengers on way from Udhampur to
Ramnagar tehsil met with an accident near Khagote and fell into a deep gorge,’’
police here said.
They said that six persons died on the spot while 17 others
got injured.'Police and locals immediately swung into action and started the rescue operation,’’ police added and said that injured have been evacuated and rushed to the district hospital. UNI
