Delhi, Jan 11: The Supreme Court on Thursday decided to hear on Friday a
PIL seeking an independent and thorough investigation into the alleged and
mysterious death of Judge BH Loya, when he was hearing the Sohrabuddin Sheikh
fake encounter case in which BJP leader Amit Shah then was an accused.
The Public Interest Litigation Litigation (PIL) was mentioned
on Thursday by Supreme Court lawyer, Anita Shenoy, for an urgent hearing into
it before the three-judge bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice of
India (CJI) Dipak Misra, who said, "we would hear it on Friday". Besides, the CJI, Misra, the bench, comprising Justices AM
Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud, heard the urgent mentioning by lawyer Shenoy. UNI
