Jan 15: A Wreath Laying Ceremony at Bison Division War Memorial was
organised by Secunderabad military station on Monday with traditional solemnity
to commemorate the 70th Army day.
Lt Gen Paramjit Singh and Major General N Srinivas Rao
jointly launched the ECHS appointment scheduling mobile application (TASAECHS)
that would allow veterans to book the online appointment with the
doctors/physiotherapists of all ECHS polyclinics in Telangana and Andhra
Pradesh. The application extends the facility to Veterans to endorse their feedback as grievances or suggestions.
The initiative is first of its kind in the organization and is believed to be a trailblazer leading the
complete ECHS environment on the path of digitization.
Director ECHS, Colonel Anil Kumar explained that the project has a vast scope and the functionality which will be introduced in phases, the first phase being the launch of appointment booking application.
Soon Centralised Information Management System and Integrated Medicine Inventory Management System will also be added to enhance efficiency, transparency and optimum utilisation of resources. UNI
