Agartala, Jan 5: Ahead of final publication of electoral roll, BJP Tripura today constituted a three-member committee for each of the booth in the state to verify the electoral roll to be published this evening.
Party president Biplab Kumar Deb in a statement said the committee will comprise Mandal president Pristha Pramukh (page observer, which BJP for the first time introduced for each page of voters' list) and a youth member of  the locality to corroborate the names of the final list with the voters exist in the particular locality.
This is the action plan of BJP’s micro level election management strategy  to zero down electoral manipulation by the ruling party with the help of administration and it worked well in Uttar Pradesh and Assam, Deb said.
He pointed out that BJP had found a large number of fake names in the draft electoral roll and raised objection based on field survey, which are expected to be deleted in the final publication but there is doubt about the action of the administration.
The three-member committee will look after the procedure of completing Form 6 and 7 in the right way. The committee members will not engage in any other work until the electoral roll verification is completed.
“If they found any forged name and have doubt over the voters, they will verify and in next three days such report in detail has to be reached in the state office of the party,” Deb directed adding that in past elections CPI-M in connivance with the administration did the mischief and got elected with forge votes but this time it would not be allowed. UNI
