Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jan 19: The work of the first phase of the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) has begun with the works for roads and water pipeline . 
The project is situated at Shendra and Bidkin area here. 
The first phase of Bidkin consists of works for construction of roads, bridges, eight sub-stations for electricity supply, internal water line and underground cable line.
It will create two lakhs jobs opportunities after its completion. 
Anil Patra of L & T company said, the infrastructure works components include roads, utility services, information and communications technology and soild waste management will be completed in the next three years. 
For the second phase of DMIC 2363 hecter land is acquired in Bidkin, Nandalgaon, Nilajgaon, banni Tanda, he added.  UNI
