Aurangabad, Feb 23: All the necessary preparations have been completed to hold the three-day
'Tablingi Ijtema-2018' (Preaching Congregation), which starts on Saturday at
Limbe Jalgaon village in Gangapur Taluka, about 16 km from here.
According to sources, the Ijtema will begin with Namaz-e-Fajr
on Saturday morning, followed by a series of lectures from different Muslim
scholars and clerics.
A huge pandal has been erected in one sq ft area at the venue for prayers, where discussion and debates will be held on various subjects, including the Islamic way of life and principals of Tablingi Jamaat, apart from the main aim of universal peace and brotherhood.
After the final prayer, the Jammta group is formed, which then travels around the world, preaching Islam.
Participants, including those belonging to the state as well as from the country and abroad, are flocking this city for the event, expected to be attended by a few lakh Muslim community members.
Five thousand volunteers have been pressed into service to look after traffic management. Police department has been already diverted the traffic en route Ijetma and permitted entry only to Ijtema participants.
The district administration has made arrangements for all basic amenities at the venue.
All the government top brass officials, including Police Commissioner Yashashvi Yadav, IGP Milind Bharambe, Divisional Commissioner Dr Purushottam Bhapkar and Collector Naval Kishore Ram, have visited the place and overseen the arrangement.
Police department has deputed 5000 police personnel with four drone cameras to maintain strict security arrangement at the venue, the sources added. UNI
