New Delhi, Feb 21: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's advisor V K Jain was questioned by the Delhi Police in connection with the alleged assault on the Delhi Chief Secretary at CM's residence during the Monday midnight meeting.
According to police sources, Mr Jain had called the CS on Monday night to inform him about the meeting where Mr Anshu Prakash was allegedly manhandled, as mentioned in the complaint filed by the Delhi's top bureaucrat.
Mr Jain was also present at the CM residence while the incident took place, the CS complaint mentioned.
The police was also looking for the AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, who was accused of assaulting the CS as per his complaint.
On Tuesday, Mr Prakash had alleged that he was manhandled at the meeting called in by the CM at his residence, late night on Monday.
However, AAP denied all the allegations made against their MLAs, instead alleged that the BJP was behind all this.
Meanwhile, the Home Ministry has also sought a report from Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal in this regard.
Delhi CS has met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday.
The Home Minister has said that he was 'deeply pained' by what happened. UNI
