Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Feb 20: A team of Enforcement of Directorate (ED) conducted a raid on the outlet of diamond, owned by Nirav Modi on the premises of 'Prozone Mall' last night and sealed the outlet.
Two counters of Gili owned by Modi at Shoppers Stop shop at Prozone, sources said.
The raid started on Monday morning and lasted till last night.
However, the local police was unaware about this raid. 
Getting the news of raids, electronic and print media rushed to the Prozone mall and waited for an official information but the ED team refused to divulge anything. 
As soon as the shop was opened, a team of eight members of ED entered the shop and took control of the counters.
During the raids, they obtained all sales records with the help of shop staffers, bill books record, invoice, papers and other documents regarding sales of diamonds and diamond studded jeweler items.
A fraud of more than Rs 11,000 crore came to light in one of the PNB branches at Mumbai. Such types of raids have been conducting various locations across the country by the ED officials, sources added. UNI
