Ranchi, Feb 6: Former Bihar chief minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav today appeared
before special CBI courts here in connection with couple of cases of the multi
crore fodder scam.
Mr Yadav appeared in case number RC47A/96 before the court of
special CBI judge Pradeep Yadav which is related to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs
184 crore from the Doranda Treasury of the state.
In another case number RC38A/96 Mr Yadav appeared before the court of justice Shivpal Singh through video conferencing. The case is related to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 3.97 crore from the Dumka treasury.
Mr Yadav is currently lodged at the Birsa Munda Central Jail located at Hotwar after he was awarded punishment in couple of other fodder scam cases. UNI
