UDHAMPUR, FEBRUARY 21: An awareness camp cum guest lecture was organized
by the career counselling cell, Department of Commerce & BBA of Government
Degree College, for Boys Udhampur on the theme "Entrepreneurship
Development Programme" in the premises of college campus here today.
The
purpose of the lecture was to generate awarenessamong the students regarding
the benefits, potentials of entrepreneurship and various schemes, financial
support and guidance provided by JKEDI to the entrepreneurs of the state.
While
addressing the students about the situation of unemployment in our state the
Principal of the college Prof. S.K. Magotra advised them to set up their own
enterprises and become job providers instead of job seekers.
On
the occasion, District Head JKEDI, Vishal Ray shared his views regarding the
various schemes being offered by JKEDI and said that it is a good platform for
self-employment.
The
other faculty members who delivered the lecture are Ajay Kumar, Kaku Ram, Dr.
Ankush Bharti, Yogesh Sharma and Rohit Gupta.
Later, certificates were also distributed among the college students
who participated in this event.
