Panaji, Feb 13: To
depict the three dimensional facets of the Indian Navy, models of Naval
platforms were paraded at Vasco in South Goa during Carnival on Monday.
According to a statement from Navy, the float included a
models of aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya, Sea King helicopter and that of an
indigenously built submarine showcasing the three-dimensional Navy.
Men dressed in Marine Commando attire on a boat equipped with close combat weapons were also featured on the float. The float showcased "Combat Ready Force" theme of Navy. The Indian Navy Float and tableau were well appreciated by the local populace and was the centre of attraction amongst more than 50 floats paraded from all over Goa.
