Agartala, Feb 13: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today made a clarion call to vote for BJP in the coming Assembly election for “development and good governance”, matching with the ambience created by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing media here today, Yogi said there were a campaign before 2014 general election against Mr Modi that the country would be divided on caste and creed basis but in the past three and half years it has been proven false and it was a mere political campaign.
“Whatever programme and social security schemes were launched by Modi governmentt so far was not for any particular caste and religion. Only agenda of BJP government is to work for socio-economic development of the poor and backward section of the society without considering caste, colour, creed and religion. Now people of the country extended support to BJP for development and
development only,” Yogi stated.
Without naming Congress and Communist, Yogi said so called secular party in past years did vote bank politics based on religion and caste but Modi led government at the Centre began its journey with the slogan – Sob ka Sath Sob Ka Vikash, which is self explanatory of development agenda of BJP.
Seeking vote for BJP and IPFT candidates Yogi argued, “If same party in the state and centre got elected, development of the state becomes easier and smooth because there will no ideological fight. But in case of Tripura, BJP government is the need of the hour for holistic development of the state.”
The 25 years rule of Manik Sarkar has increased the number of
unemployed to 7.5 lakh and the state has emerged as one of the top states in the country in crime against women. CPI-M rule has destroyed the rule of law and they never thought of people’s development rather was desperate to save their political interest, Yogi alleged.
He further mentioned that Tripura has failed to implement Prime Minister Awas Yojana for rural poor, Prime Minister Sadak Yojana for ensuring better road connectivity of the villages, rural electrification and drinking water schemes properly and added, “They haven't utilized the fund properly not extended support to the poor to get the benefit offered by the central government.”
The self-employment schemes of the central government under start up India and stand up India could not be implemented properly in Tripura due to the left front government here. As a result, entrepreneurs and youth of the state are not able to harness the benefit of the projects and once BJP led government will come to power, Tripura will see a new face of development, Yogi claimed. UNI
