New Delhi, Feb 27: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday targetted the Modi government on the
appointment of a fourth judge in the Sohrabuddin case.
Taking to the social media, Rahul said, 'The Sohrabuddin case
claims yet another Judge.
Justice Revati Dere, who challenged the CBI, has been removed.
Judge J T Utpat, asked Amit Shah to appear, and was removed.
Judge Loya asked tough questions. He died. '
He also posted on his twitter handle a report on removal of Justice Revati Dere from the case after she allegedly challenged the CBI.
The report said Justice Revati Mohite-Dere, had lifted the gag order on media reportage of the proceedings in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh case in an order on January 24. She had also consistently pulled up the Central Bureau of Investigation for lack of clarity in presenting the prosecutor’s case, for its failure to protect witnesses and for opposing the discharge of lower-level police personnel while remaining quiet on the discharge of senior officers.
