Shillong, Feb 21: Congress president Rahul Gandhi will continue his campaign for the second day on Wednesday in the poll-bound Meghalaya.
According to Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), Mr Gandhi will address a public meeting at Jowai in West Jaintia hills.
He will also hold people contact programme in Shillong here.
On the first-day of his campaigning, the Congress chief addressed rallies in different parts of the state, including one at Mendipathar in North Garo District. 
Among the high-profile candidates of the Congress party are -- Chief Minister Mukul Sangma, who is contesting from two seats Ampati and Songsak, his Cabinet colleague Ampareen Lyngdoh and former state Minister Manas Chaudhuri.
The polling for the ensuing Assembly polls is slated to be held on February 27. The results would be announced on March 3. UNI
