Kolkata, Feb 21: Train services in Eastern Railway's Bandel-Naihati section were today disrupted after scores of unemployed youths blocked the traffic at Garifa station in Hooghly district protesting against the Railway Board's decision of IPI pass mandatory for appearance in the Group D candidates.
The Inwald Personality Inventory (IPI) is a 310 question "true-false" inventory designed to identify a variety of personality and behavioral characteristics. It is primarily used to screen applicants for high-risk positions such as police candidates. This assessment, or test, was developed in response to the requirements of certain jobs.
The protestors squatted on the track since 1100 hours preventing traffic both up and down in the Naihati-Bandel line, when the report came in.
Senior railway officials rushed to the area to talk with the agitators. UNI
