Mumbai, Feb 5: The Benchmark Index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) slipped on Monday by 254.67 points to 34,812.05 in opening trade today on heavy losses in metal, realty, capital goods, banking and oil & gas stocks amid a global rout in equity 
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell by 77.55
points to 10,877.10.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 34,844.99 and 34,520.80 respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,695.55 and 10,586.80 respectively.
All the sectoral indices barring, Oil&Gas, Power Telecom and FMCG were trading red in the intrday trade.
The losers were HDFC By 3.48 pc by 1837.15, LT by 2.45 pc, Indusindbank by 2.37 pc, Hindunilvr by 1.91 pc to Rs 1346.45, Adani ports by1.83 pc to Rs 409.80.
The gainers were Bharti Airtel by 4.71 pc to Rs 441.65, Tata Motors bty 1.06 pc to Rs 391.95, Tata Motors DVR by 1.92 pc to Rs 218.05, Powe grid by 1.84 pc to Rs 196.05 and ITC by1.71 pc to Rs 280.00. UNI
