Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Feb 5: Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray has said that the party would contest the upcoming state assembly elections all alone and win on its own strength.
Mr Thackeray on Sunday said that the Shiv Sena was the first party in the state to fight for the welfare of the farmers. 'People of the state known this very well and because of Sena, various announcement were made in the recent General Budget,' he said.
Criticising Bharatiya Janata Party, he said that they had promised so many things to the peoples, but nothing was implemented so far.
He did not spare NCP too. 'The NCP, which have accumulated money through corruption, are now taking out ‘Hallabol’ rallies against the government,' he quipped.
Mr Thackeray was here on Sunday on the occasion of crushing season of the Sharad co-operative sugar factory at Vihamandwa in Paithan Taluka. UNI
