ANANTNAG, MARCH 15: The
meeting of Building Operations Controlling Authority (BOCA) of Pahalgam
Development Authority was held today under the chairmanship of District
Development Commissioner, Anantnag, Mohammad Younis Malik.
Threadbare discussions were held for 29 cases
relating to repairs/ renovation and reconstruction at Pahalgam by the BOCA out
of which 04 cases were approved by the committee and for making necessary
repairs and renovation in the residential houses without changing the interior
design at Pahalgam. Five cases were rejected and others deferred for want of
commits by the CPT.
Chief Executive officer PDA was directed to refer
the remaining cases to the Chief Town Planner, Kashmir. The DDC directed him to
circulate the files of these cases among other members of the BOCA for time
bond report. DDC also directed CEO for making survey and assessment of the
material on spot to be used for repair and renovation work.
The meeting was attended by the BOCA members
including CEO, PDA Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, SDM, Pahalgam, Mohammad Ashraf, Chief
Town Planner, Kashmir and other members of the committee.
