New Delhi, Mar 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that India has set the target of
2025 to eradicate TB, five years before the global deadline.
Launching the TB Free India campaign here, Mr Modi said that
while the global target to eradicate the disease is 2030, in India the
government has given unto itself the 2025 deadline to meet the objective.
Mr Modi maintained that it was in this context that he had written to the state Chief Ministers to work in the spirit of cooperative federalism to achieve the mission. UNI
