Bhopal, Mar 7: Reacting at the demolition of Lenin's statue in Tripura, senior Congress leader
and former Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia today said that intolerance has
increased under the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) rule.
“There is an attempt to destroy the country's secular and liberal culture. When objectionable comments are made by any BJP leader, the Prime Minister and other ministers remain silent. When the Opposition raises the issue, a statement is issued that they implied something else. Even then no apology is tendered,” said Mr Scindia while replying to a media query here. UNI
