Mumbai, Mar 12: Engineering Major, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said that its construction arm has won orders worth Rs 2,597 crore. 
The transportation infrastructure division has secured an order worth Rs 1,047 crore. A prestigious order has been received from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the construction of the 8.7 Km long Dwarka Expressway (Package-IV) in the state of Haryana on EPC mode. The project involves the construction of eight-lane elevated Dwarka Expressway along with 15 km of service/slip roads and structures like clover leaf interchange, subways/pedestrian foot over bridges and rail over bridge.
The water & effluent treatment division has secured an order worth Rs 949 crore. Two EPC orders have been secured from Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board for 'Providing Underground Drainage Facilities (Laterals) to Bommanahalli, RR Nagar & Dasarahalli Zone coming under 110 Villages of BBMP (Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike)', in Bengaluru. The scope includes laying of sewer pipelines, construction of precast manholes and providing house service connections to three zones.
Another order has been secured from Krishna Bhagya Jala Nigam for the execution of 'Bhima Lift Irrigation Project on turnkey basis.'
The scope of work includes survey & design, construction of intake canal, Jack well cum pump house, substations, transmission lines, allied electro-mechanical equipment's along with MS pipeline rising main & distribution line, delivery chamber and other ancillary works.
The buildings & factories division has secured an order worth Rs 601 crore.
The division has bagged an order from HSCC India to construct a hospital and academic campus for the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The scope of work includes civil structures, finishes, internal electrification, HVAC, PHE, firefighting, external development works etc and their maintenance during the Defect Liability Period. UNI
