Power shutdown in Jammu

            JAMMU MARCH 02: To carry out maintenance work on OPGW on existing 132 KV Jhajjarkotli-Janipur line, the shutdown of 132 KV Jhajjarkotli-Janipur line from 132/33 KV Grid Station, Janipur is being observed.

          During the shutdown, the power supply to Jhajjarkotli, Jindrah Flata and adjoining areas shall remain affected on March 4 from 9 am to 2 pm.

          Meanwhile, to execute work for preventive maintenance, branch cutting and thickening of 33 KV G-7 line, the shutdown of 33 KV G-2, G-3 G-7 lines is being observed.

          During the shutdown, the power supply to Gandhi Nagar, Bahu Plaza, Part of Trikuta Nagar, Jammu University, Divisional Commissioner Office, Bikram Chowk and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on March 5 from 7 am to 10 am.

          Similarly, the power supply to Nanak Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Part of Gandhi Nagar and its adjoining areas shall remain affected onMarch 5 from 7 am to 10 am.

          Likewise, the power supply to Channi Himmat, Malik Market, PHQ Channi Himmat, Sainik Colony, Chowadi, Transport Nagar, Fruit Mandi, Narwal Bathindi PHE installation and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on March 4 from 9 am to 2 pm.

          Meanwhile, to carry out the installation and commissioning of isolators, the shutdown of 132/33 KV Kalakote-Rajouri Transmission Line is being observed.

          During the shutdown, the power supply to Kalakote, Sunderbani, Nowshera and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on March 4 from 9 am to 4 pm.

Similarly, to carry out work for replacement of 33 KV isolators of 33 KV Bay under PSDF work, the shutdown of 33 KV feeder Kullian emanating from 132/33 KV Miran Sahib Grid Station is being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Kullian (R.S. Pura) and its adjoining areas will also remain affected on March 3 from 9 am to 4 pm.

However, for conducting de-stringing work of 132 KV Transmission Line between Tower location 10 and 11 of 132 KV Canal-Miran Sahib Transmission Line under Airport Expansion Project, the shutdown of 33 KV Feeder Canal-Chatta emanating from 132/33 KV Canal Grid Station is being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Sohanjana, Mandal, Flian, Khandwak, Surya Chak, New Satwari, Air Force, Military Hospital, New Basti, Narwal Pine, Airport, Military Cantt, Shastri Nagar, Digaina, Satwari and its adjoining areas will remain affected on March 3 from 10 am to 2 pm.
