Patna, Mar 20: Members of main opposition parties RJD, Congress and CPI (ML) stalled
proceedings of pre-lunch session of Bihar Assembly today on the demand of
resignations of union ministers Ashwani Choubey and Giriraj Singh forcing its
adjournment till lunch recess only after nearly 13 minutes.

Mohan alias Suday Yadav in the House after it assembled for the day, Congress
member Ajit Sharma started creating ruckus in support of his demand for
acceptance of his adjournment motion.
Congress member Awadhesh Kumar Singh said that union minister Mr Choubey had given a statement with an intention to provoke riot. He said that Mr Sharma gave an adjournment motion in this connection and it should be accepted it paving way for discussion on it.
In support of Mr Singh, RJD member Bhai Birendra and one more member started trying to say something simultaneously.
On it, Speaker Mr Choudhary requested members to allow the House to take up the Question Hour as it was not proper time to raise the issue of adjournment motion. Since the time is reserved for question hour, the issue should be raised in the House later, Speaker said.
Speaker`s requests failed to make any impact on the agitating members.
Congress members first stormed into the well of the House and later RJD and CPI (ML) members also followed the suit by raising slogans.
Congress, RJD and CPI (ML) members were raising slogans like “Arrest Ashwani Chobey and his son, Stop patronising riotists and Arrest Giriraj Singh”. UNI
