Patna, Mar 16: The
Question Hour in Bihar Assembly was completely washed out today when RJD
members stalled proceedings on the issue of CBI falsely implicating former
railway minister Lalu Prasad on the charge of irregularities in railway tender
during his tenure.
As soon as the House assembled for the day, RJD
member Abdul Bari Sidiqqui quoting an English newspaper`s report said that the
Narendra Modi government through CBI had falsely implicated RJD chief and
former railway minister Lalu Prasad on the baseless charge of committing
irregularities in railway tender.
He said that CBI`s legal cell had already given clean chit to Mr Prasad in alleged irregularities in railway tender. He said despite it, Mr Prasad was deliberately implicated in the case due to political reason.
When Mr Sidiqqui demanded a discussion on the issue in the House, other RJD members also started creating noisy scenes from their seats.
Speaker Vijay Kumar Chaudhary appealed to RJD members to allow House to transact its business and said that government would give its reply if any issue was raised in accordance with the prescribed norms.
Unsatisfied with the Speaker`s plea, RJD members stormed into the well of the House by raising slogans. UNI
