Mumbai, Mar 6: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday bounced back by 301 pts to open at 34,047 point 43 snapping a downward trend of last four sessions on fresh buying was seen across the board.
The Nifty of National Stocks Exchange (NSE) too rose by 62 points to 10,420.50. 
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 34,060.13 and 33,831.86 respectvely.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,441.35 and 10,386.75 respectively. 
The sectoral indices that pushed the equity market up were Materials, Energy, FMCG, Auto and Bankex.
The gainers were IndusBank by 2.09 pc to Rs 1722, Tata Steel by 1.93 pc to Rs 668, Dr Reddy's Lab by 1.38 pc to Rs 2212.65, Yes Bank by 1.13 pc to Rs 316.90 and HDFC by 1.07 pc to Rs 1809.65.
The losers were Sun Pharma by 1.16 pc to Rs 541.50, M & M by 0.91 pc to Rs 732.25, SBIN by 0.70 pc to Rs 261.95 and Tata MotorsDVR by 0.60 pc to Rs 198.50. UNI
