Mumbai, Mar 5: The
benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday slupmed by 311 pts to
33,735.28 as selling was seen across the board.
The Nifty of National Stocks Exchange (NSE) too slipped by
109.20 points to 10,349.15.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 34,034.28 and 33,717.74 respectvely.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,428.70 and 10,344.50 respectively.
Though, the sensex jumped by 304 points to open at 34,034.28, it immediately went down.
The sectoral indices that drifted lower were FMCG, Fianance, Bankex, Energy and IT kept the market negative in early trade.
The losers were Tata Motors by 3.14 pc to Rs 387.20, Tata Motors DVR by 2.57 pc to Rs 202.50, Yes Bank by 2.49 pc to Rs 312.75 and Hind Unilever by 2.20 pc to Rs 1296.45.
The gainers were TCS by 0.74 pc to Rs 3059.45, Adani Ports by 0.32 pc to Rs 407 and Infosys by 0.04 pc to Rs 1160.75. UNI
