Amaravati Mar 16: The Telugu Desam party, who decided to quit the NDA, will move no confidence
motion in the Parliament against the Narendra Modi led government.
Talking to media in Delhi, TDP Floor leader in Lok Sabha,
Thota Narasimham said the TDP Parliamentary committee had given notice to the
Lok Sabha Speaker in this regard. The TDP had given a notice to Lok Sabha
speaker to move No Confidence motion against Modi led Centre on Monday, the MP
informed.
“The TDP will teach a lesson the Centre. The TDP is the first party to revolt against the Modi led Centre denouncing it for doing injustice. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is a national leader and decide future course of action” he said. The TDP MP said that the TDP leaders were trying to muster the support of 54 MPs. He said that the Opposition YSRCP also wants to move No Confidence motion but the party had only 6 members. Moreover, the YSRCPs effort of moving no confidence motion devoid of seriousness.
Launching a scathing attack against the Modi led Centre, he said that the Centre is to treat all the states equally but the Centre showing step motherly attitude towards Andhra Pradesh by not fulfilling assurances. In the circumstance, the TDP has no option exception pulling out from Union Cabinet and exit from the NDA alliance, he said.
Talking to media in Delhi, former Union Minister and TDP MP, Y Sujana Chowdary said that the TDP decided to exit from the NDA, vexed with the indifference attitude of the Centre towards Andhra Pradesh. “Even after one week of quitting the Union Cabinet, there is no response from the Narendra Modi led Centre. In the circumstances, majority of TDP senior leaders felt that continuing in the NDA is not proper so that the TDP has come out of NDA” Mr.Chowdary said. UNI
