Agartala,
Mar 9: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Friday said the outcome of
Tripura polls shows the communists losing the relevance and the overwhelming
acceptance of the Modi government.
Talking to reporters, Mr Rupani, who is here to attend the
swearing-in ceremony of the first BJP-led coalition government in Tripura, said
the poll outcome also denotes the hard work of the local party workers and the
oragnisational leadership of party chief Amit Shah.He said the defeat of CPI (M)-led Left Front reflects the rejection of the communist 'ideology' and shows the party losing relevance in a state where it was in power for the last 25 years.
Among others, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Manipur Chief Minister Conrad Sangma are also here to attend the grand ceremony.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mr Shah are expected to address a party rally after the swearing in ceremony here. UNI
